When Supergirl reluctantly leaves to help Wonder Woman, Beetle and Firestorm show up, attacking Cyborg and defeating him. Superman tells the rookies that Brainiac is too much for Batman, and they need his help. Firestorm claims that Batman asked them nicely instead of demanding help, but Superman argues that Batman will fail because he doesn't go far enough. He watches as Supergirl returns with Wonder Woman to fight Beetle and Firestorm. The rookies are seemingly victorious, but their victory is spoiled by the fact that they are outnumbered. Firestorm prepares to go nuclear but is stopped by Batman. Realizing he cannot beat Brainiac on his own, Batman personally releases Superman from his cell. Clark is skeptical at first, asking Bruce what his game is, but Bruce replies that saving the world is enough for now. When Clark declares that he will never go back into the red sun cell, Bruce brushes it off, saying, "We'll cross that bridge later."
In the animated film, Superman is a little bit different compared to his video game counterpart. While he did resort to the same brutal and remorseless methods he used in the games, he had moments where he understood that what he's doing might be wrong and that he shouldn't resort to such atrocities. when he killed the Joker in revenge for Lois Lane's death, he wore a horrified expression on his face as he looked at his hand soaked in the villainous madman's blood, showing the viewers that he was shocked at breaking his own moral code by killing someone in cold blood. He wouldn't even agree to allying himself with villains who admire his new methods of bringing about peace unless it was no other option, like when he refused to ally himself with Ra's Al Ghul when the terrorist offered his services to Superman, who later on agreed after his father was accidentally murdered by Green Arrow. Despite his strained relationship with Batman following Joker's death, Superman wouldn't hesitate to work with him to stop their enemies from causing any harm, even if it meant Superman would stand against him afterwards, like how Batman and Superman worked together to stop the Arkham inmates after they were released by a reformed Harley, and when they worked together to stop AMAZO after Ra's betrayed Superman. Superman had some concerns about his methods, but they were shaded by Wonder Woman, who thinks he's doing the right thing until she realized that he was going too far after watching him murder the Joker acolytes. Unlike his video game counterpart, Superman still values civilian life when he defended the citizens of Smallville from AMAZO. At the end, Superman fully realized the error of his ways when an alternate version of Lois Lane reminded him that all life is sacred to him. Superman was even willing to accept imprisonment or death, as he agreed to be imprisoned when Batman decides to have him put in a red sun prison rather than have him executed. These different traits are what make the injustice movie version of Superman more likeable compared to his video game counterpart. Because while the video game version was brutal, cruel, bitter and angry, the movie version is remorseful, understanding, values life and was able to see the error of his ways.

The Wonderful 101 does not take itself seriously at all. It's a roller coaster ride from the get-go, playing every trope seen in your average Saturday morning cartoon to the extreme. From beginning to end, this game makes no apologies for being wonderfully stupid and over the top. But what else would anyone expect from Platinum? Oh, and it's also really freaking hard. 2ff7e9595c
